VCI is an innovative corrosion prevention product used on applications that are not well suited for traditional cathodic protection. VCI products consist of a vapor barrier released into a sealed space that condenses and is absorbed onto metal surfaces, inhibiting corrosion. While VCI is ideal for unique corrosion challenges, this solution can also be used in combination with traditional CP strategies to provide additional protection. MESA has partnered with Cortec to provide customers with a proprietary VCI formula (VpCI©). Used independently or as part of a comprehensive corrosion control program, VCI is a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly choice.
